Fiberglass Rails and Ladders

Fiberglass Rails and Ladders

Sur-Loc's 100% fiberglass ladders using the runners as a safety rail are durable and corrosion resistant. Rigid fiberglass Climber's Buddy OSHA compliant aluminum ladders rails are designed to be installed flat to walls or even to retrofit existing fixed ladders. They are easily installed and use the patented Climber's Buddy positive cam action safety sleeve which grips instantly and will not slip.

Fiberglass ladders are standard 12' lengths in a 16" width meeting OSHA standards and a 12" width for ships. Rails are also available for retrofitting existing ladders. Both ladder runners act as a safety rail carrier for a cast aluminum alloy safety sleeve with 304 stainless steel components. The sleeve has no metal rollers to rust and seize up. Instead, it glides on a high-strength, low-friction, long-wearing, polymer sleeve.

Fiberglass ladders and rails are designed to exceed 250 pounds live load with a safety factor of four in compliance with all OSHA standards. Ladders are available with attractive International Orange or Navy Gray color impregnated throughout and never need painting. Fiberglass material is non-corrosive and non-conductive to insulate from electrical and radio frequency currents. Ladders and rails come complete with stainless steel mounting hardware.

Weather and chemical resistant construction makes our fiberglass products particularly useful in corrosive environments such as:

Waste Water Plants

Sewage Lift Stations

Storage Silos

Chemical Plants

Smoke Stacks

Fiberglass Tanks

Paper Mills
